The FA and Sky Sports leaders join football debate

Heather Rabbatts, the highly respected first woman to be appointed a Non Executive Director of The FA , and one of the key people in sports broadcasting worldwide, Barney Francis, Managing Director of Sky Sports, are the latest confirmed speakers at the 5th Leaders in Football conference taking place at Chelsea FC on 10th and 11th October 2012.

The conference is building up to be the most high profile to date with FIFA Vice President HRH Prince Ali Bin Al Hussein and Major League Soccer Commissioner, Don Garber already announced, and a number of top international panels for European Club Presidents, MLS owners and Asian football.

Rabbatts has a distinguished career in business, government and finance having been a Governor of the BBC, Non-Executive Director of the Bank of England, Managing Director of the education division for Channel 4 Television and Chief Executive of the London Boroughs of Lambeth and Merton. Since 2006 she has been Executive Chairman of Millwall FC.

Francis was appointed Managing Director, Sky Sports in July 2009 and is responsible for output across television channels, and online and mobile content. The company has recently secured the Premier League rights for the seasons 2013-2016, worth £760m per year, and has proved to be a great promoter and partner for England’s leading football league.
