UK Sports Minister kicks off debate at Leaders in Football

Minister for Sport and Tourism, Hugh Robertson, will enter the debate about governance in football at the sixth annual Leaders in Football conference taking place on 9th and 10th October 2013 at Chelsea FC.

Robertson is a strong advocate of robust leadership and governance in sport generally, especially football, and has taken a keen interest in the development and sustainability of the game within his Ministerial responsibilities in the UK.

Robertson was responsible for the delivery of the London 2012 Olympics and Paralympic Games and is a champion of the power of professional sport to increase participation levels across all levels and, as a result, social change. His presence on stage is an agenda setting contribution to the debate around the future of football within the UK and beyond.
