ESPN has secured the UK broadcast rights to the 46 Premier League matches made available by the Setanta's difficulties for the 2009-10 season. In addition, ESPN has also secured the UK rights previously held by Setanta to 23 matches per season from 2011-2014.
ESPN has agreed a deal to sublicense roughly 115 La Liga matches from GolTV for broadcast inside the U.S. on ESPN2 and ESPN Deportes, the network's Spanish language channel.
