Championship Manager to sponsor Leaders in Performance

Leaders in Performance, an inaugural event dedicated to the business of sporting performance, is pleased to announce Championship Manager as one of its major partners for the launch event.

First released in 1992, Championship Manager is the most established name in football management games, with 15 versions released across more than a dozen platforms. Championship Manager gives players the chance to experience the highs and lows of real world football, assuming the role of manager at any one of thousands of clubs around the world.

'We're extremely proud to be sponsoring this Leaders in Performance event, it is an event at the very heart of the business of football,' said Roy Meredith, General Manager of Championship Manager. 'Championship Manager has a great historical association with football, we are continually looking to grow this association and this partnership firmly illustrates that.'

Leaders in Performance has a spectacular line up of speakers across a number of different sports including contributions from NBA, Chelsea FC, Real Madrid, LTA, St Etienne as well as British Cycling and Athletics. The event is being held alongside Leaders in Football, at Chelsea FC on 7th and 8th October 2009.
