Brazil 2014, Poland/Ukraine 2012, AFC Cup 2011, Qatar 2022 and Abu Dhabi Club World Cup 2009 delegations visit Leaders in Football

Leaders from the world's most prestigious organising committees in football will be visiting Leaders in Football 2009 to discuss their respective challenges and meet the senior level delegates from 45 countries attending the event.

The delegation from the Middle East will be led by HH Mohammed bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani and Hassan Al Thawadi, respectively Chairman and CEO, Qatar 2022 World Cup Bid along with Dr. Athanasios Batsilas, COO, Asian Cup 2011 Local Organising Committee. They will be joined by over 20 senior level delegates from the Abu Dhabi Sport Council including its CEO, Dr. Khalid Mohd Abdullah Al-Hashmi, and Vice Executive Director, Khaled Mohamed Awadh Al Khazragy, ensuring a number of high profile sports events and significant budget holders will be represented by the region.

With the Ukraine seeking to reassure UEFA regarding their host nation responsibilities for Euro 2012, Valeriy Zhaldak, First Deputy Director of the Euro 2012 Organisation Co-ordination Bureau, Mr Andriy Mykytiv, Head of Stadia Operations for LOC; Yevhen Chervonenko, First Deputy Mayor, Kyiv City Administration, will all be travelling to Chelsea to meet commercial suppliers who can support their preparations. And with Poland hosting the majority of games, Renata Wiśniowska, Project Director, Investments Euro 2012 Office of Gdańsk; Rafał Kapler, Member of the Board for Organisation of Euro 2012; and Tadesz Zygmunt, National Coordinator for Safety amongst others will be looking for expertise across a wide range of services.

Finally, with Brazil already confirmed as the hosts of the FIFA World Cup 2014, senior delegates including Fernando Ladeira Fernandes 2014 World Cup Project Manager; José Fortunati, Municipal Secretary for the 2014 World Cup, Fabio Simão, Football Co-ordinator, 2014 World Cup Committee and Jose Roberto Bernasconi, President of SINAENCO will be in the audience for the conference sessions dedicated to staging a major event.
