We are delighted to announce that Leaders in Football will, for its third year, return to Chelsea FC, London on the 6th and 7th October 2010. Please make a note of the dates in your diary and contact the team if you would like more specific information on the event. For your information, the dates once again coincide with 'international week' which will ensure another sell out event with 1,000 senior level executives linked to Clubs, Leagues, Federations, and Brands attending.

Well, with Leaders taking place just 7 weeks before the decision to host the 2018 and 2022 FIFA World Cups, we are delighted to confirm day one will have a major focus on the World Cup. All the main bidders will be taking part (including Australia, England, Japan, Qatar, Russia, South Korea, United States, Belgium/Holland and Spain/Portugal) and there will be an exclusive review of the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.
Day two on the main conference stage will be dedicated to the main challenges facing football as we gather the men of the moment to debate the issues of the day. Some of the subject matter will include debt, future revenue, governance and ownership.
Additionally, as part of the programme of events, we will be running dedicated conference streams with world renowned speakers on sponsorship and media rights over the 2 days for all the rights holders and brands attending.
It will be our most ambitious conference programme to date and one designed to provide genuine thought leadership and real life learning.
Networking
The ability to make contact with the right people is still a key driver for many delegates and we will be once again investing in a series of 'speed-meeting' sessions designed to deliver that all important introduction. Ever popular and incorporating a successful formula for the buyers and sellers, this will become another key feature of the event.
Centre of Excellence
In 2009 30 leading companies were selected to showcase their services within the 'Centre of Excellence' which has been sold out every year. This year we are reducing the number of companies in order to provide even more stand out for those involved and are pleased to announce the space is already 75% sold out. We are currently assessing the suitability of a number of companies based on their experience and innovation in the sports industry and are open to further requests before we make our final recommendations. Please remember, only leading edge suppliers with commercial, media or marketing services are invited to apply.
