On 7th and 8th October 2009 at Chelsea FC, the 2nd edition of Leaders in Football was again officially opened by Sir David Richards, Chairman, The Premier League.

This 2 day conference stream on the 7 & 8 October 2009 provided a clear insight of the thoughts of leaders from clubs, leagues, federations, local organising committees and broadcasters. Presentations and panel discussions involved some of the issues and challenges facing their respective organisations such as finances, the global future of football, managing the wealth gap, leadership on and off the field, staging a world cup, the future of sports broadcasting.

The Brand Leaders’ Summit
This 1 day conference stream on 7th October 2009 provided an in depth analysis of best practice from the leading brands and management figures in sport. It provided an opportunity to learn from the industry’s innovators by examining a range of marketing and brand case studies within football and across a whole spectrum of other sports.
